Rippy (yeah that’s my actual name) is a Grammy-nominated recording, mixing and mastering engineer.
I make records and tour mixing Front of House (doing sound) for live shows. If you’re into modern hardcore, punk or metal, odds are I’ve worked on a show or song you’ve heard. I have over a decade of experience after going to The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences (AZ) then working at Cove City Sound Studios (NY).

I specialize in recording rock or guitar driven bands and have built a setup around that using classic recording studio gear and techniques. I rely on using microphones to capture real performances, and much less on computers and programming or emulation.
I also do remote/location recording.
